The Inari shrines are known locally as O-inari-san and are frequented by Japanese people of all ages.

The Romon Gate donated in 1589 by the famous leader Toyotomi Hideyoshi, welcomes visitors at the entrance. At the back of main hall (honden), guests pay respect to the local deity by giving a small offering. Fox statues can also be found around the area as they are believed to be Inari’s messengers.
