The first national capital of Japan was in Nara 1300 years ago. Kasuga Taisha is a distinguished shrine with 3,000 auxiliary shrines across the country and 3,000 donated lanterns. This demonstrates how widely popular and deeply worshipped the shrine is.

On this tour, we will be greeted by adorable deers while walking through Nara park. We will also offer a prayer at the historical Kasuga Taisha Shrine.

In December 1998, the Kasuga Taisha Shrine and the Kasugayama Primeval Forest were included in the “Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara” and were designated as a joint UNESCO World Heritage Site.
